Buzzydice privacy policy
What we collect when you use Buzzydice, why, where it goes, and how to take it back.
Who we are
Buzzydice is a service that writes and publishes LinkedIn posts on your behalf. It is run by Victor Slompo. For anything about your data, write to victor@vssolutions.io.
What we collect
- From LinkedIn, when you connect: your name, email address, profile photo and LinkedIn member ID.
- A LinkedIn access token: the key LinkedIn gives us so we can publish on your profile. It is not your password, and we never see your password.
- Your setup form: your audience, tone, topics, the real cases and numbers you share, the sources you trust, your brand colours, the days and time you want to post, and whether you want to approve posts first.
- Your logo, if you upload one.
- The posts we make for you: the text, the slide images and their sources, and whether you approved them.
This website itself uses no cookies, no analytics and no tracking scripts.
Why we use it
We use your data for one purpose: to research, write, design and publish your LinkedIn posts, and to contact you about them (for example, approval requests and the reminder to renew your LinkedIn access). We do not sell your data, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not use it to write posts for anyone else.
Where it is processed
To make and publish your posts, your data passes through these services:
- Our automation server, which runs the weekly schedule, keeps your setup and your LinkedIn token, and sends posts to LinkedIn.
- Anthropic, whose AI models draft the posts from your setup and the news we find.
- GitHub, where a private repository turns each post into slide images and a PDF. It holds your logo, your post texts and the images.
- LinkedIn, where your posts are published.
- Vercel, which hosts this website and keeps standard server logs, such as IP addresses, for a short time.
Some of these services may process data outside your country. Each of them handles it under its own privacy and security terms.
What we do on your LinkedIn account
We only publish posts on your profile, and only the posts you set up with us. We never read your messages, your connections or your feed, we never change your profile, and we never act on your account for any other purpose.
How long we keep it
We keep your data for as long as you use Buzzydice. When you disconnect or ask us to delete your data, we delete your setup, your logo, your LinkedIn token and the posts we stored, except where the law requires us to keep a record. Posts already published on LinkedIn stay on your profile until you delete them there.
How to revoke access
You can cut our access at any time in LinkedIn: go to Settings > Data privacy > Permitted services and remove Buzzydice. From that moment we can no longer publish on your profile.
How to ask for deletion
Email victor@vssolutions.io from the address you used with us and ask us to delete your data. We confirm by email once it is done. You can also ask us for a copy of your data, or to correct it, in the same way.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we update this page and the date below. If the change matters to how we use your data, we tell you by email first.
